Surprisingly little change in the buildings themselves although (as usual ) Cars Everywhere Now.
ReplyDeleteI don't like that dirty great office block they've built on the east corner of the junction. That's where 'Bouder and Wiltshire' used to stand.
ReplyDeleteIt's a shame they've demolished 'The Dukes Head' too.It destroys the old character of that part of Addlestone I think.
When did they remove that lamp post in the middle of the junction? That wasn't there when I lived in New Haw Rd in the 60s!
