Barnes, South-West London, Church Road c1910
Postcard by Young & Co of Teddington. Unfortunately the modern Google Streetview of Church Road does not show the exact viewpoint as the postcard, which is a little further back.
The top photo has such a beautiful and peaceful quality to it, which is certainly enhanced by the lighting and the trees. Google street views can't be expected to capture that quality. It still looks like a fine spot.
