Sutton, Surrey, Grove Road Showing Post Office circa 1910. This scene has changed almost beyond recognition. Postcard by Young & Co of Teddington.
All the trees gone, except for far down at the end. As we decide that roads NEED to be widened to accommodate more traffic, it's just a given that sidewalks are cut back and trees eliminated. Misguided, if you ask me.
